Assistant In Solar Energy Research

Requirements:

A Master's degree in electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering or other appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited institution, or a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering or other appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited institution and three years related professional experience.

Minimum of 1-year experience in analysis, design, testing, and evaluation of solar photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. Experience with PV, codes and standards, data acquisition/monitoring. Demonstrated record of self-motivated approach and being able to work in a team environment that is fast paced. Computer competence. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills including group presentations. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Salary:

$40,000-$50,000

This is a 3 yr. Visiting Faculty position.
